Goa 2100: the transition to a sustainable RUrban design

This study is included as it is an example of how very interesting results can come from very unexpected processes. Just read the introduction.

The Goa 2100 study was prepared as part of an international competition on sustainable urban systems design sponsored by the International Gas Union. Vancouver won the prize, but the Goa 2100 study was one of three entries that won the special jury prize. The competition arose from the International Gas Union’s decision to explore the future of cities and urban communities in the next 100 years.
